We didn't start NREC because we saw a gap in the market. We started it because we saw talented people doing critical work in silos. Companies spending more time searching for funding than actually building projects because grants, investors, and resources were scattered across thousands of databases. Municipalities doing incredible things, like Framingham's district geothermal project and Newburyport's net zero Cutter fire station, but without a platform to share those wins across the region. Six states full of talent and ambition and resources, and not enough of it was connected. So we connected it. We built the NREC Resource Portal so companies could go to one place, stop digging, and start getting projects off the ground and completed. We make introductions that turn into partnerships. This industry is navigating an uncertain landscape right now. But the work has never been more important, and the people in this sector have never been more resilient. We are still here, and we will keep showing up, because that is what you do when you believe in the people beside you.
